This is my very uncommon Galaxie 500 fastback. Good running and driving 54 year old all original ride. $4k in maintenance in last 3 months: Tires on original steel wheels (**mags not included**) Monroe maxx shocks, Carburetor remanufactured by Rod's carburetors in Phoenix, Motorcraft alternator, Battery, Battery cables, Starter solenoid (new included) Ford performance parts tune up: Ignition wires, Ignition coil Distributor cap/rotor Electronic ignition pick up, Water pump, radiator hoses, thermostat, Fuel pump, Fuel filters, Brake Wheel cylinders, Brake Master cylinder, Brake flex hoses, Also New ford galaxie floormats and new headliner (not yet installed) more. Starts easy, runs very quiet. No funny noises, no fluid leaks. Registered insured and driven 4-5 times a week. I am the 2nd owner not including the son of the original owner who stored it for over a decade after his father passed. All lights exterior lignts and signals work. All interior lighting works, wipers, cigarette lighter works (actual lighter has never been used). The AM radio reception is loud and clear. With how smooth the car runs and drives, seems to be true miles. I have owned it about 6 months and put some miles on it around town. I am ex Ford powertrain n chassis engineer guy and enjoy finding unique old vehicles and doing all the maintenance and making daily drivers out of em. This one is pretty much ready to go. If your looking for a mechanically straight, easy and inexpensive to maintain but very unique daily driver ride, this one could be just that. It receives more attention n compliments where ever it goes than my nicer more popular cars. People comment the originality, the petina, and how quiet it runs. Hi I'm Cameron and I'm thinking of selling a rare car on here it's a 1970 ford galaxie XL Fastback has matching numbers the car came from New Mexico I'm the 3rd owner I think about 127,000 original miles the cars all original except for the 15 inch American racing rims and the super 44 flow masters if ur gonna buy her please restore her and bring her back to her glory 2bbl carb has been rebuilt it needs an oil pan and air filter spacer. The engine is a factory 429 thunder jet with MSD ignition new starter from a '70 Tbird. Some rust on the panels but none inside the car interiors all original the car was painted yellow in the 80's it originally was a triple white A/C and radio don't work but comes with a few parts no tire kickers serious offers please $4,000.
